Sherman Tuan

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Sherman Tuan is the CEO of TelTel Communications Limited.  He brings with him extensive technology industry experience and over twenty years of trans-Pacific business expertise.  Among Mr. Tuan's many accomplishments are creating an innovative and leading Data Center business in the U.S., listing the company on NASDAQ, and managing the multi-billion dollar sale of the company.     

Mr. Tuan founded AboveNet Communications, Inc., a leading Data Center business, in 1996.  He served in various capacities, including CEO, President, and member of the Board of Directors. AboveNet, Inc., formerly Metromedia Fiber Network, Inc., a leading provider of network infrastructure solutions, acquired AboveNet Communications in 1999. Mr. Tuan served as a member of the Board of Directors of Metromedia Fiber Network until 2002. Prior to founding AboveNet Communications, Mr. Tuan served as President of InterNex Information Services, Inc., an internet infrastructure provider. Mr. Tuan’s other past experiences also include various executive roles at Acer Technologies, Inc. as well as at many other high technology companies.

Currently, Mr. Tuan is also a member of the Board of Directors for numerous companies in the U.S. and Asia.  Mr. Tuan graduated from Feng-Chia University in Taiwan with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
